UNUM is the art practice of Kristina Binatyan.
based in Mexico and rooted in the natural world around her. Seeds, flowers, plant structures, and all kinds of organic forms are where the shapes and textures in her work come from.
Every piece starts as paper pulp and is crafted by hand. Forms shift and change as she works, while the surface keeps the marks of the process: pressure, cracks, drying, and natural imperfections become part of each piece’s character.
